Proposed project activities :

1. Conduction of Socio-Cultural study and research to aid Tribes, economically backward, underprivileged and weaker sections of the society through involvement of young Research scholars from various Universities.

2. Organizing various seminars, National lectures, Meetings, cultural programs to disseminate the outcomes of social research to maintain national integrity.

3. Conduction of various residential training programs to develop skills and culture among above weaker section and among the social workers involved in various reforms and activities.

4. Publication of literature and research journals to retain the essence of Nationalism and social harmony among Indian society.

5. Development and maintenance of Vanshawali museum to preserve historical and social achieves of National integrity.

6. Preparation of India’s largest cultural digital database involving economic, social, educational and cultural status of various casts, creeds and tribes in India.

7. Production of non-commercial films, documentaries, songs and presentation to propagate the inclusive root Indian essence of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam”.

8. Conduction of various Govt. and Non Govt. projects to strengthen cultural fiber of India.

Objectives of Proposed Project :

1. To study the different segments, rituals, beliefs, ideologies and sects of Indian society to provide the real information to relevant beneficiaries.

2. To study and support social reforms, corrective moments by conducting seminars, lectures and social programs. To support the organizations working into the same directions.

3. To make effective efforts to conserve and propagate national monuments, rituals and beliefs.

4. To train rural, tribal, poor, socially backward and underprivileged segments of Indian society into skilled and cultured ones.

5. To study the relations and effects of way of life on law and law on the way of life to eradicate religious malpractices. To seek out such kinds of activities/remedies and to inform/suggest various measure to the Government.

6. To establish and to run electronically & intellectually rich libraries to disseminate credible information to the society at various workplaces.

7. To study the condition of women and children, health & hygiene, rituals, medical remedies, education, life style of Indian tribes.

8. To preserve and revamp intellectual property, arts, culture, vedic facts, mythological archives, historical archives and traditional knowledge of India.

9. To recognize social talent to reward & support.

10. To develop various museums and art galleries. To establish public communication channel to facilitate the same.

11. To organize seminars, national lectures, meetings, cultural programs and to form, develop and run “snasktiti samanvay kendra” to fulfill the points mentioned (1 to 10).

12. To receive Government/Non_Government/ Semi Government/ Public Sector/ Private sector financial aids to fulfill all of the above objectives and to run various relevant projects.

1. Organization Details

1.1 Brief description of Organization/ Agency :

Jankalyan Santhan, An organization involved in social reforms through study, research, publication using a combination of latest technology and Indian traditional archives. The organization is actively involved in making a positive Mindset among Indian citizen to maintain social harmony and to preserve Nationalistic fiber among them by organizing Seminars, National Lectures , symposiums and demonstrating short films inculcating the inclination towards root Indian culture and by conducting various training programs required for above facilitation.

1.2 Details of similar projects ongoing/ completed by the organization/ agency in previous three years

1. Establishment of Sanskriti Samanvaya Kendra : The Sanskriti Samanvay Kendra is a project for research and development of Native Indian culture through 400 social projects spread country wide. The project stared at 2006 and till the mid of May 2017 the successful formation and sustainable conduction of 3 research centers at Jaipur, Udaipur and Jabalpur were held. Jankalyan Sansthan is the essential part of the planning and financial committee formed by Akhil Bhartiya Sanskriti Samanvaya Sansthan ( A Nationally Registered Organization & Apex Body of Sanskriti Samanvay Kendra ).

2. Propagation of Vanshavali Sanrakshan Project : Vanshavali writers are one of the most reliable historical writers of India. Unfortunately this important skill has been diminishing and out of fashion since last few decades in India. To revamp this skill and to reestablish its need, the Jankalyan Sansthan collaborated with Akhil Bhartiya Vanshavali Sanrakshan evam Samvardhan Sansthan ( An Apex body registered at National level) and conducted this Vanshavali Sanrakshan Project. Since 2008 till the mid of Apr 2018, the project has spread its wing Nation wide more than 12 states of the country connecting poor and underprivileged vanshavali writers from various communities of Jaga, Rao, Bhat, Bramhabhat, Badwa, Barot, Helwa, Panjikaar, Panda, tirthapurohit and others. The project has already delivered its major achievements in establishment of importance of such kind of Pothi writing and technical training of young vanshavali writers already.

3. Intellectual Publication Project : Through its tie up with Akhiltiya Sanskriti Samanvaya Sansthan , the Jankalyan Sansthan facilitated the publications of Sanskritik Pravah and Sanskriti Samanvya Research Journals ( both are recognized wide ISNN numbers) along with more than 40 books on various cultural issues.

1.3 The impact assessment (Third Party) of the previous projects executed by your organization in the similar focus areas to that of current proposal, if any :

1. Impact Assessment of Sanskriti Samanvaya Kendra ( Assessed by Akhil Bhartiya Sanskriti Samanvay Sasthan ABSSS, Jaipur) : Through the support of Jankalyan Sansthan to 3 major research centers of Sanskriti Samanvay at Jaipur, Udaipur and Jabalpur, approximately 150 social projects ( mostly Tribal and socially backward segments ) were facilitated. Through which approximately 1.5 lakhs people were benefited and approximated 50,000 people were made aware of various challenges and remedies with Indian Cultural Integration.

2. Impact Assessment of Vanshavali Sanrakshan Project : ( Assessed by Vanshavali Sanrakshan and Samvardhan Sansthan ABVSSS, Jaipur): Through the support of Jankalyan Sansthan, the vanshavali sanrakshan project executed by ABVSSS reached to various parts of the country. Through its meetings, seminrs, functions and technical training at various villages, cities and Universities, the project covered approximately 2.5 lakhs beneficiaries. The major impact of the project was the establishment of need of the vanshavali writing tradition successfully. In result a dedicated Government Academy on Vanshavali was established by Government of Rajasthan in 2017 and more than 4 Universities (M.G.S.University, Bikaner, M.LS University, Udaipur, Atal Vihari Bajpeyi University, Bhopal, Kota University, Kota ) had opened a separate department to conduct PG level of courses on Vanshavali writing tradition.

1.5 The details of largest project undertaken by the agency in recent past. Please provide the financial implication involved with it.

The largest project undertaken by Jankalyan Sansthan in past was the above Vanshavali Sanrakshan Project. As it was totally a social project, the major financial collection were made from various donations collected by Akhil Bhartiya Vanshavali Sanrakshan and Samvardhan Sansthan. Jankalyan Santhan was the chief executor of the project.

2.4 Brief about the targeted beneficiaries under proposed CSR projects

Targeted beneficiaries: Tribal /socially backward/ marginalized segments of Indian Society.

2.5 Methodology of the selection of the beneficiaries and number of beneficiaries in details

On the basis of detailed social survey, the needy persons from Tribal /socially backward/ marginalized segments of the society shall be shortlisted for the project. Through the small social meetings and awareness gathering the reach to the above people shall be expended. The main selection shall be done on behalf of personal interview or based on recommendations of local NGO/SHG or other organizations working in the same direction for their upliftment . The beneficiaries won’t be distinguished on behalf of their race, religion, sex or cast. The total beneficiaries could approximately be 5 lakhs in numbers.

2.6 Details of physical and social milestones / deliverables to be achieved through the proposed CSR project

The major project deliverables and social milestones of the Jankalyan Sansthan’s sociocultural research Centre shall be as followed :

1. A boost in self-esteem related to their cultural identity in a dignified manner. Enhancing their emotional connectivity with the country by establishing their contribution in the development of India as an integrated Nation. By this indirectly countering the issues of separatism , Naxalism and terrorism etc.

2. Significant economical upliftment among the beneficiaries overall livelihood. Boosting the traditional work in rural segments and stopping the social drain and conversions.

3. Significant improvement in social acceptance of beneficiaries. Resulting secure, prosperous, stable and respected living patterns among them.

4. Significant improvement in the interest of young generation in conduction of research on the topics related to native Indian culture and tribal rituals.

2.7 Detailed timeline/duration of the proposed project

Total duration of the project : 36 months.

1st Year ( 2018-19) : 40% constructions and 20% project deliverables.

2nd Year (2019-20) : 40 % constructions and infrastructural development

( Total 80%) and 40 % project deliverables ( Total 60%).

3rd Year (2020-21) : 20% remaining constructions( Total 100%) and rest of the 40% (Total 100%) of the project deliverables .

What is the monitoring mechanism for the projects as far as project activities and benefits to the beneficiaries are concerned

Monitoring mechanism:

1. Formation of the Construction Committee consisting 11 persons from various fields. The committee shall monitor day to day development of the project through site engineers and project supervisors.

2. Formation of Finance committee consisting of 6 persons, including chartered accountants. The committee shall monitor the financial activities including fund procurements.

3. Formation of Project Committee consisting of 11 persons having various expertise. The committee shall ensure that the beneficiaries are receiving the projects benefits.

2.10 Documents depicting the funding sources for the total budget of project under reference other than ONGC and details of the amount funded by each organization, if any.

The major source for the project funding for Jankalyan Sansthan is its donors. No other organization is involved in funding till today.

2.11 How sustainability of the project is planned to be assured ?

Major outlines of the Plan for project sustainability:

1. The research committee of Jankalyan Sansthan is headed by Prof. J.P.Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Mohanlal Sukhadiya University, Udaipur. The Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Gangasingh university, Bikaner Prof. Bhagirath Singh and Vice Chancellor of Banswara Tribal University, Prof. Kailash Sodhani along with 5 other renowned professors are also a part of the above committee.

This committee shall be proposing and executing various research projects/educational courses/ training programs/ workshops funded by UGC (The University Grants Commission) and other research funding agencies which could be a major funding resource for various tasks to be undertaken by Jankalyan Sansthan.

2. Various souvenirs being published by Jankalyan Sansthan through its allies is a major source of funding through advertisements from Government and non Government Agencies. All of the major publications are highly demanded by various academic / private organization and individuals that could be sold to maintain the publications sustainability.

3. An Auditorium having the capacity of more than 500 persons is to be built at second floor of the proposed building. After the formal permissions from the Authorities, the Auditorium and exhibition hall would be open for other organizations for various uses on rental/donations basis.

4. A centralized website is to be made for the above project. The website shall collect online donations and advertisement funds for the above Nobel cause.

5. The initial talks with Allotment Authorities are going on to receive a sanction/permission to utilize a particular area of the building (other than the area/block to be made through the contribution of ONGC ) for the rent/lease purposes to any Nationalized Bank or institutions. This would also aid to meet out day to day operational / maintenance costs involved in the project.

6. An annual membership for common people is introduced by Jankalyan Sansthan to provide them the opportunity to be connected with the crucial social issues and a Nobel cause. This membership has got annual fees through which the project sustainability would be aided.
